Fight for Freedom

The idea came after the Christmas party. 

My idea:  

This painting is about knowing our own beauty and power.
We like to be seen, admired, and loved by people. We enjoy attracting attention and connection.

But at the same time, we want to stay free.
We do not want to belong to anyone or give up our independence.

The eye represents awareness and self-knowledge.
The heels show confidence and femininity.
The tear shows the struggle between being desired and staying free.
The rose represents beauty and attraction, but also strength.

This is a fight between love, attention, and freedom.
A fight to remain independent while being admired.

Oil paint and the both side edges are metallic paint.
