What I See

The pretty girl sitting next to me,
I travel with her every morning.
My heart pumps fast from what I see…
My pulse, inadequately scoring.

Every single morning we share smiles,
Then wait for the tube, then run for miles.
Before getting off, she glances at me…
My heart races from what I see.

I have no courage to speak to her,
My fear is the weakness I refer.
I am in love with her, that is all I’ve got,
My thoughts grow heavy, my brain is hot.

A fire burns inside my mind,
I know I’m insane… yet I don’t mind.
This beautiful girl sitting next to me…
My heart pumps fast from what I see.
